One of the main things we will miss about living here is the trip to Muscut, Oman. We will especially miss the resort we alway stayed at, the Shangri-La. We tried to make a visit every 6 months or so since we moved here. The kids loved it there because they could pool hop, and the resort had a lot of planned activities for the kids. By the end of the every night the kids would just collapse in bed.
After a ton of running and pool hopping our family found a big hot tub. Each one of us jumped in. As we sat there, Xavier (3 years old at the time) turned to me and said, 'This is great! We're here, just laxing and do'n nothing'. This statement was hilarious to me on two accounts: first, Xavier had the capability of putting those words together like that; second, Xavier had never 'laxed' in his entire life! How did he even know what that meant???
Ever since, we have used this expression to remind us that even if you have the 3 year old wiggles, sometimes it is just nice to 'lax and do nothing.'

Man! Those pics make me so envious! Here we are with the 20th straight day of rain, and even some snow thrown in, with no end in sight. Totally not the norm, it is supposed to be upper 60's right now, and we are enjoying mid 40's! Weather is so wacky! The only good part is how green everything is.
