We had a visitor this week. So far, he has been the easiest visitor we have had yet. He came from Arizona on the dime of our great friends the Abrahams. It was nice of them to let us have him for a few days. Mike and Dayna Abraham were such great friends of ours in Arizona and their son, Colin created Flat Stanley. The Abrahams were supposed to come visit us this past March, but it didn't quite work out. Instead, they sent Flat Stanley and we showed Stanley around Kathmandu. We hope he goes back and tells them ALL about it.
Here are some things he did during his short visit with us:
He hung out with Ganesh for good luck.
He wanted to see a football game but then realized the Nepali team stinks and didn't quite make it into the payoffs.
He wanted to ride in a tuk tuk but there wasn't enough electricity to keep the thing going.
He flirted with my daughter (which I think she liked).

Our time was short, but fun. I hope Colin likes the packet that is on its way back to AZ. We wish it was the Abrahams and not just Flat Stanley, but maybe his stories will make them burn with desire to visit next year! Thanks for the fun!

You guys ROCK! Colin is going to be thrilled to see your post when he gets home from school today! Now more than ever are we regretting not making it over to see you. We've got to work on that and will have to listen to Flat Stanley's stories to get us by. (Although it seems he'll have to edit some of them around the kids!)
Thanks so much for taking the time to show him around - I'm sure he loved it.
You're the best! Dayna
Man, we took our Flat Stanley to Chocolate World . . .
So cute~~~I'm going to send a picture of me and you can make a flat Jeni and put me in all the pictures. It will be almost be like going on an exotic vacation. Which, truthfully, I am afraid to do!
Wait. What? You didn't take Flat Stanley to Chitwan??
Flat Stanley is an International Hero!
