It is amazing how many strangers have approached me with the same question, 'Are they your children?' When I tell them I am naturally blonde and I just dyed my hair dark it is inevitably followed by, 'Why would you want to do that?' I am just thankful they ask. Others just give me strange looks and think I am either:
A. A nanny from Russia who might do some night work on the side
B. An older sister from an Arabian affair
C. Axel's mistress or 3rd wife
In the Middle East, any one of these options are possible and seem more likely than a natural blonde choosing to go dark.

that's hilarious!! i love that they might think you are a 3rd wife over having turned your hair dark! glad your kids got into the school you wanted! hope things start to go well for your visas.
are you even darker now than when we saw you this summer or is it just the picture? honestly if they take one look at them they are obviously yours....especially Heavah!
