Okay, we don't get much snow in Dubai but it sure feels like a snow day. Axel (aka 'Rock Star' of the household lately) was only supposed to visit for 48 hours before he hopped on a plane to NY. The kids thought that they had to fill in the past 2 weeks of his absence into these hours. 'Daddy, look at this...;Daddy, did you know...;Daddy, tell me about...' The hours before his departure were so sad for the kids...until...
Just before I drove Axel to the airport he decided to check on his flight on the net. As he did, there were some inconsistencies with the timing. He got on the phone to find out the correct time only to find out the flight was booked, but not paid for. Great for us, not so great for him or our friends he was supposed to visit in Delaware.
As a result, we have Axel home for another two days. What a party...yet, in the end, we still know the snow (sand) will melt and we'll be back to the same old routine, blah.
